He was trying to straighten my hair as close to the root as possible, but after that, I told him don't worry about it. He did give me a slight discount for the discomfort. Dreamsequins--I agree with you on the dread. It's so hard to find a good stylist that is up with the latest looks and can give you a great blow out. If you don't know the stylist, they might give you an outdated style or just do the usual suburban housewife look-- at least that's been the range of my worst experiences...
