Clandestine Chic is a twenty-something working in public affairs/marketing by day. At night, she is an aspiring media jack-of-all-trades with a keen interest in fashion and beauty.
Born and raised in Chicago, IL, my interest in fashion began once I was able to start dressing myself and put together my own outfits. Not that they matched, but my parents decided to let me explore my fashion creativity with my outfits from Sears and JC Penney. As a tween, I became an avid Vogue reader, but it was really power of the Internet and my first personal computer that allowed me to explore fashion and beauty topics even further.
I’m interested in fashion and designers that may not be heavily featured in the “fashion bibles”, up-and-coming designers and brands, and Chicago-related fashion. I’m also a beauty and hair product junkie who is trying to curb my appetite for the all of the pretty packaging and promises of dramatic results.
